The Dying Art of Cursive Handwriting

In a recent web newsletter of AOTA dated February 17, 2009, An article on cursive handwriting caught my attention. Fox News ran a debate on penmanship and if the schools should continue to teach it. Todd Masura, an occupational therapist and former grade school teacher explained the importance to continue teaching handwriting in school. While Brian Rodriguez, an entrepreneur, argued that children should be taught to use a keyboard and computer. Click HERE to watch the clip.
